Low-Current & Security Systems
As part of its MEP scope, Reqaz designs and installs the low-current systems that keep a building secure and connected: CCTV and video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection, structured cabling and networking infrastructure, fire alarm and detection, and public address / intercom systems. These systems are installed and tested alongside the main electrical and fire-fighting works and handed over with full commissioning documentation.

How the project runs
Reqaz’s MEP teams design or work from the project’s MEP drawings, install the electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, and carry out testing and commissioning before handover. MEP work is coordinated alongside Reqaz’s structural and fit-out teams when delivered as part of a wider contracting project, or supplied as a standalone service.

Reqaz is a MOMRA-classified (Grade 2) general contractor, certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. MEP systems are installed to meet Saudi Building Code requirements and Civil Defense approval standards for fire and life-safety systems.
